Your clothes are the perfect disguise. They shield and block you from the outside world.

From prying eyes and scathing looks. Your clothes provide a first impression, an insight to what those around you will assume is your brand. What they won't see is how just like social media clothes can sometimes be the image, the identity that the wearer chooses to project not simply who they are. Sometimes they are the armor that helps prepare for battle. Because everyone has special outfits: first date, pilates class, that one cute Victoria's Secret lacy sleep set, picture day, sporting uniforms. All of it, has a distinctly unique purpose of projecting a certain aspect of their character. Yet just because this image might have been woven together doesn't mean it's any less real. You can be you and still not know who you are. You can be you and still have questions and parts of yourself you haven't discovered. You can and always will be you because your unique journey is what makes you yourself, not the destination.
